Overview
Mitro’s animal research facility covers translational research focusing on major diseases such as tumours, coronary heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, rheumatism and immunology, diabetes, and cutting-edge research fields such as receptors, genes, and stem cells, exploring disease mechanisms, developing diagnostic and therapeutic drugs, and evaluating treatment effects.
Our Solution
HUBER & RANNER provided 5 Y-CASE fresh air units and 5 Y-CASE exhaust air units for the facility, with a total air volume of 190,000 m3/h. The system adopts HUBER & RANNER's high-efficiency KVS energy recovery system in a 3-coil arrangement, integrating the energy demand of fresh air pre-cooling, supply air re-heat and exhaust air energy recovery. This solution significantly reduced the energy demand of the HVAC system.
